Evaluarted Answers (Bb numeric)

I am hoping to use the TestGen software to build Blackboard tests using the Bb numeric question type. I want to use this type along with the tolerance feature and the bit of searching I have done suggests that it is possible. Apparently, I should be able to use the "Evaluated Answer Editor" along with the short answer question type to create a Bb numeric question with tolerance. However, I cannot seem to access the Evaluated Answer Editor. It is in the menu system but always greyed out. I am using the latest version of TestGen and have tried various way to gain access.

What do I have to do to create a Bb numeric question within TestGen? Is it possible?

TestGen Forums:

Unfortunately, TestGen doesn't export to the Blackboard numeric question type.

The evaluated answer editor only works with TestGen Plugin Tests. Specifically:

  1. Create a new Web Test In TestGen.
  2. Specify "TestGen Plug-in" as the platform.
  3. Insert a new Short Answer question and edit it.

You can now access the Evaluated Answer Editor under the "Tools" menu. If you export the TestGen Plugin test to the Blackboard format, it will export each possible answer as an answer choice. Note: Only literal answers, and current values of variables are exported. Numeric and expression modes are ignored.

Thank you for the quick response. I am sorry to hear it cannot do this, but I thank you for saving me the time and struggle trying to get it to work.
