Mac 10.5.8 unable to download Test Gen

I have downloaded and installed the testgen and I am still unable to get it to work. I have a 10.5.8 Macbook pro that is only 1 year old and yet I cannot install this software. Please help

Please let us know how far you get in the setup.
* Did you download the compressed .sit file and unstuff it before running the TestGen 7 Setup program?
* Did you see the installer title screen, readme, and license screens?
* Did you select an installation folder and use the Easy Install option?
* Is there a TestGen icon on the Dock?
* When you start TestGen do you see a title screen?
* Do you receive an error message at any time? If so, what is it and when does it appear?
* Did you download a testbank file to use with the TestGen application?
Maybe working through the above questions will help uncover the problem. If not, please respond and let us know at which point the problem occurs. Thanks.
