Select and scramble

Hi. Let's say I have selected 15 questions each from 4 chapters of the testbank. I would like to make 3 versions of the test by selecting 10 questions from each chapter randomly from the selected questions, and all the questions on each version should be randomized (that is, they should not be ordered by chapter). Thanks.

If you are printing the test, the easiest way to create multiple forms of the test is to first construct a single test via random selection of questions as noted above. You can shuffle the order of questions by choosing "Question->Scramble->All Questions" to break grouping by chapter. Then choose "File->Print". You will get a "Test Print Settings" dialog which will allow you to generate multiple forms of the same test. Simply enter 3 for the "Number of forms" and then select the options as desired. If you uncheck preserve question order, the questions will be shuffled on each form version.
