Multiple answer lines for short answer questions

I want to have a short answer type question that has the student list 5 different answers. Like this:

1. List the 5 areas a technician should study before taking the final exam.
a. _________
b. _________
c. _________
d. _________
e. _________

The help file discusses a way to do this, by selecting "Change Answer Blank" from the Question menu" and changing the number of blanks, then selecting the "Show Labels" box to display the blanks.

It does not seem to work. (Yes, the "show answer blanks" option is selected).

I think it should list the 5 blanks so that I can enter the correct answers but nothing changes except I get a bigger black "selection" box on the question.

TestGen Forums:

This should be working for you. Be sure you enter the number "5" for the number of blanks, next to the Show Labels check box. The lettered answer blanks show along the right edge of the test page. (Hide the Testbank Library or to view the entire test page or scroll the test page to the right to see the answer blanks.)

Does not seem to work. While editing a test bank, how do I get five blank answer lines so I can enter the five correct answers. That's what I'm trying to do. All I get is one answer line to enter the correct answer. Thanks

OK, this works when creating a test; but not while editing a test bank, to add the question along with the correct answers?
