Default Location for Saving Tests

I had mentioned this problem under the Font issue but that thread seems to be getting long. I had indicated that I have another bug in using Snow Leopard where TestGen will not allow me to select a default location for saving tests. I get get a window that tells me the path for the testbank directory is not valid. You said that you were not finding this on your machine and asked me to send you the path sequence I selected. Here is the path that comes up when I select the use default button but I still get the not valid notice Leopard:Users:Robert L.:Documents:TestGen:Tests

Ah, I think I see the problem. I'm pretty sure our path code in TestGen will not like your username, "Robert L.". It contains a space and a period.

To verify my theory, try setting the path to something outside your home directory. (EG: "/Users/Shared" or on the root of Macintosh HD). Does the error go away?

I tried both users:shared:tests and Leopard:Tests and it still did not accept as valid. Should I be using back slashes or colons? I did not have this issue with the previous version of Leopard.

Hmmm...

In the dialog, did you change paths for both tests and testbanks? When you close the dialog it checks both fields for a bad path.

Do you recall if your username was the different with the previous version of Leopard?

That was the problem. My path to save testbanks was invalid. I had changed the name of my system disk and the old system disk name was still in the testbank path.

It means that you don't have the admin testrights to run the program on that particular machine.
