Font Problem

I upgraded from TestGen 7.5.2 to 7.6.3. The default settings for any new question added, any new answer added, etc., call for Palatino Linotype 10 point font, which I believe was the default.

Now any questions that I add have Times New Roman as their default font.

I have copied and pasted empty questions where I set the font to Palatino Linotype (manually) and when the question is pasted, the font is switched to Times New Roman.

This is very frustrating and only happened after I upgraded.

What can I do to remedy this problem? Please advise.

TestGen Forums:

7.6.3 defaults to Times New Roman for new questions. You can change this doing the following:

  1. Open a Test.
  2. Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Test Options
  3. Open the Default Styles Tab.
  4. Walk through the different "Test Components" and set the font as desired.
  5. If you want the settings to be permanent for all tests, click the "Set as default".

Regarding the "copied and pasted existing empty questions", there is a bug where TestGen may report the wrong font after pasting. Place your cursor in the question field and hit the arrow key to see if it is indeed still reporting Times New Roman. If so, we may need to clean up your preferences.
