Unable to save test

The save and save as functionality of the software will not allow me to save my tests. I have tried everything I can think of. I've tried multiple computers, reinstalling, recreating, and everytime I have the save result. Please help.

TestGen Forums: 

When you say it "will not allow you to save your tests", what exactly do you mean by that?

Are the "Save" and "Save As" menu options greyed out?

Are you getting an error message, and if so, what does that message say?

Is TestGen apparently saving the files, but you're unable to find them when you want to re-open them?

In order to figure out what's going on and how to fix it, I'll need more information.

Same problem.
I build the test under web selection on TestGen,(7.6.5)
If I try to save button:..., then message Sorry, unable to save new exam
If I try save as button.... first message: sorry, unable to save new exam. Then the next message: " unable to locate file"

Are you trying to use a forward slash ("/"), backslash ("\"), or colon (":") in the filename? Those characters have special meanings to the operating system, and strange things can happen if you try to use one in a filename.
